Yumo Terms of Use

Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Yumo, a Mac app that turns speech into text using on-device dictation technologies. By downloading, installing, or using Yumo, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Yumo.

Use Of Yumo

You may use Yumo for personal or business dictation on compatible Mac devices. You are responsible for the text you create with Yumo and for reviewing dictated output before using, sending, or publishing it.

Subscriptions And Billing

Yumo may offer a free trial and paid auto-renewable subscription through Apple's App Store. Subscription prices, trial details, and renewal periods are shown in the App Store or in the app before purchase.

App Store purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's payment terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings. If you cancel, your access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period unless Apple states otherwise.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Yumo, attempt to interfere with its operation, reverse engineer the app except where allowed by law, or use Yumo in a way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.

Privacy

Yumo is designed for private, on-device dictation. Our handling of information is described in the Yumo Privacy Policy.

Ownership

Yumo, including its software, design, branding, and related materials, is owned by Yumo or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of Yumo to you.

You retain ownership of the text you create using Yumo.

Third-Party Services

Yumo relies on Apple platforms and technologies, and distribution and payments are handled through the App Store. Your use of those services may be subject to Apple's terms and policies.

Updates And Availability

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue Yumo or any part of it at any time. We will try to keep Yumo reliable, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device, operating system version, app, or workflow.

Disclaimers

Yumo is provided "as is" and "as available." Dictation results may contain errors, omissions, or formatting issues. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yumo and its owners, developers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of Yumo.

Termination

You may stop using Yumo at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to Yumo if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms or applicable law.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and post the revised terms on this page. Your continued use of Yumo after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
